Along with the development of technology and common use of internet and technological devices by almost all students, the traditional way of teachning and learning has been supported by e-learning and other internet-related means of teaching. Whereas the use of e-learning isn't approved by all teachers and methodologists, the subject of present post, namely BLENDED LEARNIG, enjoys much better opinion.
But what is BLENDED LEARNING?
BLENDED LEARNING (also hybrid or mixed-mode learning) is a modern method of teaching that combines e-learning (teaching via modern media) with traditional methods of teaching with the usage of technology in the classroom.
It is worth noting that students have the possibility to control the timing, pace and the path of development. Moreover, blended learning uses two modes of teaching: synchronic and asynchronic, which is unusual of traditional teaching. The following picture presents all aspects of blended learning:

In our opinion, blended learning is a great solution for modern teaching and learning. Since the usage of media in the classroom is inevitable, it is advisable to introduce it before we are forced to do so :)
We are sure that it will ensure better understanding of the subject but also the respect of our students!
Although we are not fully in favour of e-learning and use of ONLY online teaching methods, we fully support the idea of blended learning. It's much more efficient because the whole course is bng done under the teacher's supervision. However, it's not the only advantage of the described method. Other pros to be mentioned are:
